Strictly Come Dancing’s CARLOS GU announces second solo live show at Crazy Coqs
Current reigning champion of Strictly Come Dancing, Carlos Gu, has announced his second live solo show in London at Crazy Coqs in Piccadilly on 3 July.
Following the huge sell-out success of his first show, which drew a star-studded audience that included multi pro-dancers from Strictly and his former dance partners Karen Carney and Angela Scanlon, he has now announced a second date. The show features a live band and sees Carlos not only dance but also showcase his stunning voice. Through movement and song, he tells his personal story while expressing his love for musical theatre.
Carlos said: “My show is about parts of my life including my passion for singing and dance. I wanted to invite the audience into my world and to feel all the emotions with me. We live in a world where there’s so much uncertainty, discrimination and war. Therefore, we need to be kind. As the saying goes, “we are not free until we are all free.”
Gu is also about to star on Celebrity Hunted on Channel 4 alongside best friend and fellow Strictly professional Amy Dowden. He is also hitting the road with Amy in May and June with their Amy & Carlos Reborn tour.
