THE GREAT GATSBY to host sing-a-long to celebrate second anniversary on Broadway

Producers of the award-winning and record-breaking smash hit Broadway musical The Great Gatsby have announced that in celebration of its second anniversary, a special sing-a-long performance will be held on 22 April at 7pm.

During select fan favourite numbers, audience members can raise their voice and sing along with the cast for a night of revelry that would make Jay Gatsby himself envious.

Audience members will be invited to sing along to: ‘Roaring On’, ‘New Money’, ‘My Green Light’, ‘Shady’, ‘Better Hold Tight’, ‘La Dee Dah’, and ‘Finale: Roaring On’. Lyric sheets will be provided and the song list is subject to change.

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless, seminal novel is an award-winning and record-breaking Broadway musical, in the “dazzling, lush and bewitching production” (New York Times) of The Great Gatsby, which is “roaring on” at The Broadway Theatre (53rd & Broadway). The hit musical stars Tony Award-Nominee Eva Noblezada as Daisy Buchanan and beginning on 30 March, she will be joined by Broadway leading man Reeve Carney as Jay Gatsby. Also joining the cast are television and stage star Corbin Bleu as Nick Carraway and Broadway favourite John Behlmann as Tom Buchanan. Linedy Genao as Myrtle Wilson, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Eric Anderson as Meyer Wolfsheim complete the principal cast.

The production’s standout ensemble features Alexis Hasbrouck, Curtis Holland, Nathaniel Hunt, Traci Elaine Lee, Dariana Mullen, Elena Ricardo, Dan Rosales, Dave Schoonover, Mike Schwitter, Tess Soltau, Preston Taylor, Matt Wiercinski, Kyla Stone, and Damani Van Rensalier. Kurt Csolak, Haley Fish, Morgan Harrison, Justin Keats, Drew Lake, Brandon J. Large, Alicia Lundgren, and Alex Prakken round out the cast as swings.
