Fringe review: ATTENBOROUGH AND HIS ANIMALS, Clownfish Theatre - Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Imagine the magic of David Attenborough's documentaries, but live! A blue whale swims through the depths. Racer snakes pursue an iguana across a desert. Well, sort of! Two hapless fools recreate astounding scenes of the natural world.

Jonathan Tilley is the next best thing to Attenborough as he narrates his way from coast to coast, from rainforest to desert, he occasionally helps out with the odd animal or two as well.

Undoubtedly though, Jess Clough-MacRae steals the show. Her animalistic performance is not only impressive, but hilariously funny and increasingly uncomfortable for the audience. Her orangutan wants to make friends and her kimono dragon wants lunch.

Laugh out loud fun for all ages. You might just learn a few things too! It really is just like watching an Attenborough documentary.

Wonderfully animalistic!
