Rafe Spall to star in West End production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD from March 2022

Rafe Spall is set to take up the role of Atticus Finch in the upcoming West End production of To Kill a Mockingbird, it has been announced today.

The show, which was initially meant to open in May 2020, has now been confirmed for a run at The Gielgud Theatre with previews beginning on 10 March 2022 and official opening night of 31 March 2022. Tickets will go on sale from 6 April 2021.

Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel has been adapted by Aaron Sorkin for the production and explores racial injustice in the deep south of America during the 1960’s. Spall’s character is perhaps one of the most iconic in literary history.

Emma has a 9-5 normal job, but in her spare time is all things theatre! Having been a stage manager through school and now with various Drama societies in Norfolk. She loves the feel of the adrenaline rush when the lights go down and she has to open the curtains for the first time.

Emma loves musicals having seen 47 different shows 75 times! Her favourite being Come From Away. Other loves include painting, baking and sport.

She has also recently turned her hand to writing village pantomimes.
