Principal cast announced for Campus West’s 2026 pantomime DICK WHITTINGTON

Campus West Theatre has announced the principal cast for its 2026 pantomime Dick Whittington, set to play this Christmas as part of the venue’s popular festive programme.

Written by JoJo Panto Scripts, the creative team behind a series of hit productions at the venue, the show continues Campus West’s reputation for delivering high-energy, family-friendly pantomime with broad audience appeal.

Leading the cast is Welwyn Garden City favourite Keiran Parrot (The Last Hours of Alan Thicke, ITV) in the title role of Dick Whittington. He is joined by returning Campus West star Thomas Cove (Horrible Histories, West End) as pantomime dame Sarah the Cook. Also returning are Lilia Wood (Cinderella, Campus West) as Fairy Bowbells, and Dora Gee (The Mad Ones, The Other Palace) as the villainous Queen Rat, while co-writer Joe Sargent (Holby City, BBC) appears as Tommy the Cat.

New cast members for 2026 include Emily O'Sullivan as Alice, and Anthony Orme as Alderman Fitzwarren.

The announcement also coincides with a major milestone for the show’s director, Jonas Cemm, who marks ten years with the Campus West pantomime. Cemm first appeared at the venue in 2016 in Dick Whittington as Alderman Fitzwarren and has since become a central part of its festive output, directing the annual pantomime since 2019.

Alongside Joe Sargent, he has co-written the Campus West pantomime since 2021 under their JoJo Panto Scripts banner, helping to shape a distinctive house style that blends traditional pantomime storytelling with contemporary humour and fast-paced staging. Recent productions have been widely praised for their energy, polish and audience engagement, reinforcing Campus West’s position as a key regional panto destination.

With a returning writing team, a strong cast lineup and a decade-long legacy to celebrate, Dick Whittington is set to be one of the highlights of the 2026 Christmas theatre season in Hertfordshire.
