Michael Praed and Kim Criswell to star in world premiere of EVERYWHERE WE GO
Michael Praed (Robin of Sherwood) and Kim Criswell (Side by Side by Sondheim, Nine, Carrie) will star in EVERYWHERE WE GO, a new musical by Guy Kitchenn and Shaun McKenna, which has its world premiere at Crazy Coqs on 6 September.
They will appear alongside Jodie Jacobs (Into The Woods at the Bridge Theatre), Colin Burnicle (The Book of Mormon), Grace Galloway (Ride The Cyclone), and Stephen Lewis Johnston (Back To The Future).
Presented in a revue format featuring six actors playing numerous characters, this new show brings together material from a three-decade writing partnership. The musical explores themes of unrequited love, loss, lust, lies, and what can happen when you start being truly honest with yourself.
EVERYWHERE WE GO is directed by Sam Lupton, whose recent acting credits include Grayson the Musical, Dave Fishwick in Bank of Dave The Musical, and Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses The Musical.
Sam Lupton said: "Myself and the team are incredibly excited to finally share this work after developing the piece for a number of years. The show features brilliant musical theatre writing, with strong characters, heartfelt vulnerability, and a cutting wit! Our superb company of actors are going to bring these characters to life in a really intimate setting. Audiences are about to experience something incredibly special with the first performances of this exciting new material."
The production features musical direction by Livi van Warmelo, with additional musical supervision and arrangements by Michael Webborn.
