Full cast announced for Menier Chocolate Factory’s major revival of THE HOLY ROSENBERGS

The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced full casting for its major revival of Ryan Craig’s The Holy Rosenbergs, which plays at the venue from 27 February-2 May.

Directed by Lindsay Posner, the cast includes Dan Fredenburgh (Noises Off, Theatre Royal Bath/UK tour) as Saul, Nitai Levi (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, Donmar Warehouse) as Jonny, Adrian Lukis (Being Mr Wickham, Jermyn Street Theatre) as Sir Stephen, Dorothea Myer-Bennett (What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank, Marylebone Theatre) as Ruth, Tracy-Ann Oberman (The Assembled Parties, Hampstead Theatre) as Lesley, Nicholas Woodeson (Oedipus, Old Vic) as David, and Alex Zur (The Merchant of Venice 1936, West End/RSC/UK tour) as Simon.

The Rosenbergs of Edgware are in family in crisis. David is desperately trying to save a failing catering business; Lesley is trying to save a failing husband, and their daughter Ruth is facing public vilification for investigating war crimes in Gaza for the UN, is she failing her community? Will any of them succeed?

The Holy Rosenbergs originally premiered at the National Theatre in 2011, and is now even more timely and incredibly pertinent.

The production features design by Tim Shortall, lighting by Charles Balfour, and sound by Yvonne Gilbert.
