Casting announced for A JAFFA CAKE MUSICAL at Edinburgh Fringe
Inspired by the 1991 tribunal which determined the true identity of a Jaffa Cake, multi-award winning Gigglemug Theatre return to the Edinburgh Fringe with their latest smash-hit family-friendly musical comedy A Jaffa Cake Musical that really takes the biscuit (or cake…?).
Team Gigglemug, known for creating seriously silly musicals based on existing brands, set out to shed light on one of the most bizarre and heated legal battles in recent history. The show went down a storm at last year’s Fringe, selling out its entire run and receiving over thirty 4 & 5 star reviews!
The production can be seen in Bath for two nights only before heading to Edinburgh for its final ever performances.
Returning to the production are the show’s writer Sam Cochrane as Kevin, Sabrina Messer as Katherine, Alex Prescot as Judge, Katie Pritchard as Tax Man, and Harry Miller as Jake. Joining the production are Toby De Salis (Ensemble/Percussionist), Emily Kitchingham (Ensemble/Bassist) and Alexander Jude, who will be stepping in for the Bath previews.
The production is directed by Ali James, with musical direction and arrangements by Rob Gathercole.
