Wiltshire Creative announce full cast for THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN

Wiltshire Creative have announced the full cast for The Girl on the Train, adapted by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel from the bestselling novel by Paula Hawkins and DreamWorks’ film, which runs at Salisbury Playhouse from 19 October-11 November.

Directed by Loveday Ingram, the cast includes Tiran Aakal (The Mother of Kamal, Hen and Chickens Theatre) as Kamal Abdic, Samuel Collings (Jules and Jim, Jermyn Street Theatre) as Scott Hipwell, Jonathan Firth (Handan Dream, The Actors’ Church) as Tom Watson, Joanna van Kampen (Murder on the Orient Express, Chichester Festival Theatre) as Rachel Watson, Emer McDaid (Witness for the Prosecution, London County Hall) as Megan Hipwell, Jason Merrells (The Verdict, UK tour) as D.I. Gaskill, and Phoebe Pryce (A Single Man, Park Theatre) as Anna Watson.

Every day on her way to work, Rachel watches a seemingly perfect couple from the train window, dreaming of her perfect love story. Suddenly she finds herself embroiled in a dark, twisted drama, when the woman she has been watching goes missing mysteriously.

Was Rachel responsible? Where did the blood come from? If only Rachel could remember the missing pieces in her memory, if only she hadn’t had too much to drink...

The production is designed by Adam Wiltshire, with lighting by Jack Knowles, sound by Liz Purnell, video design by Dan Light, composition by Paul Englishby, and casting by Gabrielle Dawes.
