Westway Music releases brand new single from Rob Madge and Pippa Cleary

Westway Music has announced the release of ‘ All In Good Time’, the brand new single by Rob Madge and Pippa Cleary, the award-winning duo behind My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?).

Written in the aftermath of the unexpected postponement of My Son’s A Queer’s original Broadway run—just two weeks before opening night — ‘All in Good Time’ first appeared as the finale to Rob Madge’s solo show Regards to Broadway. The show, performed at London’s Garrick Theatre in May 2024, played to two sold-out houses and offered a raw, honest reflection on heartbreak, resilience, and artistic hope.

Now, as My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?) prepares for its New York debut this June—just in time for Pride Month—Rob and Pippa are releasing the song that helped them channel disappointment into something powerfully creative. From 13-15 June, New York City Center will welcome Rob Madge’s triumphant and hilarious celebration of identity, creativity, and the profound bond between a parent and their child.

About the release of the song, Rob Madge said: “We are so thrilled to be sharing this song with you all. It was written at a time when we were experiencing quite the knock back and so, we wanted to channel all those feelings somehow. When in doubt, let music be the therapy! Specifically, this song was written as a response to the postponement of our Broadway debuts. We had put everything on the line and when it fell through, it was devastating. However, we are strong believers in turning a broken heart into art. It’s a song about picking up the pieces, companionship, hope and that, ultimately, it’s okay not to be okay. We all go through difficulties but we implore you—please don’t go through them alone. There will always be a shoulder to cry on, and help you step into the light again. And remember—what’s meant for you will not pass you by!”
