Thomas Kail to direct live action film adaptation of Disney’s MOANA

Tony award winning director Thomas Kail (Hamilton, Sweeney Todd) will make his feature film debut, directing the upcoming live-action movie adaptation of Disney's Moana, it has been announced.

At Disney’s recent annual shareholder meeting, star of the animated film Dwayne Johnson revealed that he will return to play demigod Maui, and will also produce the movie.
