Theatrical royalty, new musicals and comedy legends added to stream.theatre's upcoming programme

Over 100 new performances have been added to stream.theatre’s upcoming schedule.

Stage and screen icons including Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ian McKellen will appear in theatrical fundraiser For One Night Only; and comedy legend Colin Mochrie will host Mass Hysterical: A Comedy Cantata - a collaboration with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra - later on this month.

Rachel Tucker exclusively releases ‘Lessons’ EP Launch from 15-21 May, giving fans a first look at some brilliant new tracks from the musical theatre star.

The Lowry’s upcoming new musicals festival Rewrites is exclusively available to stream throughout June, featuring Game Theory by Rachel Bellman and Josh Bird, A Mother’s Song by Finn Anderson and Tania Azevedo and 34 by Drew Dillon.

The critically acclaimed The Theatre Channel also lands on stream.theatre with brand new episodes being released over the summer, plus the chance to catch up on previous episodes of the series. Broadway sensation Bandstand also makes a return in June, back by popular demand.

For drama fans, Philip Ridley’s Tarantula streams from 18-30 May; a thrilling new play exploring identity, memory, love, and the lengths it takes someone to free themselves from the web of their past.
