THE TRAITORS: ANYWHERE now available to play
The Traitors: Anywhere, an officially licensed social deduction game inspired by the BAFTA and Emmy-winning global hit TV phenomenon The Traitors, is now available to play.
The game brings the tension, strategy and psychological intrigue of The Traitors directly into players’ everyday lives, played entirely through WhatsApp, with no additional apps or downloads required.
Designed for groups of friends, families or colleagues, The Traitors: Anywhere transforms a private group chat into a high-stakes world of suspicion, scheming and surprise. Available for up to 30 players, with larger groups able to split into parallel games, each experience unfolds over approximately one week of orchestrated action. The Traitors: Anywhere launches initially to UK & Ireland players in 2026. Participants must be aged 16 or over.
Every day brings three key phases: a Mission, The Round Table and, at night, a Murder. Across the week, players navigate a compelling cycle of missions, Round Table discussions, banishments and covert traitor activity. Cooperation and deception go hand in hand as participants complete challenges, form alliances and attempt to uncover hidden traitors, or successfully conceal their own identity. Players can also compete for Shields during Missions, which can protect them from being murdered by the Traitors that night. Private messages with the host add an additional layer of strategy, while the group chat becomes the central stage for accusations, persuasion and dramatic reveals.
All players begin the game as Faithfuls, with the Traitors selected on Day 1. While the Faithfuls gather in the main group chat, the Traitors begin plotting in a secret chat. From there, Faithfuls must work together to identify and banish the Traitors, while the Traitors must avoid detection and secretly choose who to murder each night.
