THE ROBBIE SHERMAN SONGBOOK: Backing Tracks and Vocal Guides released

To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of published Sherman family song writing, The Robbie Sherman Songbook: Backing Tracks and Vocal Guides has been released.

As the premier audition tool for musical theatre professionals, the release includes 70 backing tracks and vocal guides in multiple keys and has been put together to aid any audition scenario. The album consists of many songs from Robert J Sherman’s back catalogue as well as songs from future musical projects. This album is the second release in a set of three audio album releases of audition-related material with the first including recordings from West End talents including Sam Tutty, Rob Houchen, Rachel John, Tyrone Huntley and Evelyn Hoskins.

London based composer and lyricist Robbie Sherman is the latest in a long line of music makers with his father and uncle, Robert B Sherman and Richard M Sherman, being the Disney song writing legends who wrote for a number of classic Disney films including Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and The Aristocats.
