THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE returns to London for summer season

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, which celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the publication of C.S. Lewis novel this year, returns to the capital for a summer season at Sadler’s Wells from 20 August-7 September, it has been announced.

The Award-winning Katy Stephens plays The White Witch/Mrs Macready, alongside Joanna Adaran as Susan, Jesse Dunbar as Peter, Kudzai Mangome as Lucy and Bunmi Osadolor as Edmund.

The cast is completed by: Elliot Clay as Mr Pope/Foxtrot, Andrew Davison as Mr Wilson Schroedinger/Jack Rabbit/Aslan Puppeteer/Head Cruel, Anya de Villiers as Mrs Beaver, Molly Francis as Mrs Pevensie/Aslan Puppeteer/Robin, Ruby Greenwood (Onstage Swing), Ffion Haf as Miss Gumley-Warmley/Phoenix, Rhiannon Hopkins as Miss Chutney/Blue Badger, Joe Keenan as Mr Granville/Spirit of the Moon/Red Squirrel, Oliver Magor (Onstage Swing), JB Maya (Onstage Swing), Luca Moscardini (Onstage Swing), Alfie Richards as Mr Tumnus/White Mouse/Badger), Marc Serratosa (Onstage Swing), Kraig Thornber as The Professor/Father Xmas/Wise Owl, Ed Thorpe as Mr Beaver, Rhodri Watkins as Mr Brinkworth/March Hare/Aslan Puppeteer, Shane Anthony Whiteley as Maugrim/Satyr/White Stag, and Stanton Wright as Aslan.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is directed by Michael Fentiman, based on the original production by Sally Cookson, with set and costume design by Tom Paris, composition by Barnaby Race and Benji Bower, choreography by Shannelle ‘Tali’ Fergus, lighting by Jack Knowles, sound by Tom Marshall, original puppetry direction by Toby Olié, original puppetry design by Max Humphries, aerial direction by Gwen Hales, fight direction by Jonathan Holby, illusions by Chris Fisher, musical direction by Ben Goddard, hair and make-up design by Susanna Peretz, and casting by Will Burton CDG for Grindrod Burton Casting.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is currently playing at the King’s Theatre Glasgow, before travelling to Aberdeen, Inverness, Norwich, Canterbury, Milton Keynes, Blackpool, Llandudno, Eastbourne, Bristol, Bradford, London, Hull, Aylesbury, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Sunderland, Southampton, Plymouth, and Salford.
