THE LIGHTNING THIEF to finish run at The Other Palace on 15 June prior to major UK tour

It has been announced that The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical will finish its run at The Other Palace on 15 June, after playing 30 weeks in London.

Since opening in November 2024, over 60,000 Demigods and mortals have enrolled at Camp Half-Blood in London and joined Percy on his epic adventure.

The UK tour, a brand new production, kicks off in August this year and will be playing theatres up and down the country through 2025 and into 2026. New dates include Edinburgh Festival Theatre and Birmingham Hippodrome with many more to be announced.

The current London cast includes Morgan Gregory as Percy Jackson, Lizzy-Rose Esin-Kelly as Annabeth, Angus Benstead as Grover, Paisley Billings as Sally Jackson/Medusa, Jazz Evans as Mr Brunner/Poseidon/Hades, Joshua Lay as Mr D, Kenedy Small as Clarisse, and Xander Pang as Luke/Ares, with Philip Catchpole, Owen Lloyd, Rachel Moran, Greg Stylinou-Burns, and Alex Waxman in the ensemble.

This dynamic musical adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling The Lightning Thief has a book by Joe Tracz, music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki, and is directed and choreographed by Lizzi Gee, with set and costume design by Ryan Dawson Laight, original lighting design by Charlie Morgan Jones, sound by Dominic Bilkey, video design by Duncan McLean, illusions by Richard Pinner, fight direction by Lisa Connell, puppet direction by Laura Cubitt, musical supervision by Jeremy Wootton, musical direction by Ben McQuigg, and orchestrations by Wiley DeWeese and Rob Rokick.
