SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL to tour UK and Ireland in 2027 with initial casting announced

Brace yourself sisters! Jamie Wilson Productions has announced the return of the award-winning smash hit SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL, opening at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 11 September 2027.
Strictly Come Dancing favourite Craig Revel Horwood will star as Mother Superior, alongside ChuckleVision legend Paul Chuckle as Monsignor O’Hara and West End sensation Zoe Birkett (Moulin Rouge; Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Deloris Van Cartier at selected venues throughout the tour. Further casting to be announced.
SISTER ACT has direction by Bill Buckhurst, choreography by Alistair David, set and costume design by Morgan Large, lighting by Tim Mitchell, sound by Tom Marshall, musical supervision by Stephen Brooker, and casting by Pearson Casting.
SISTER ACT features original music by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
After Wimbledon, the tour will visit Sunderland, Sheffield, Bradford, Dublin, Manchester, Southend, Birmingham, Cardiff, Nottingham, Brighton, Dartford, Plymouth, Hull, Southampton, Belfast, Derry, and Oxford, with further venues to be announced.
