Grammy Award winner Shoshana Bean to star in THE LOST BOYS, A NEW MUSICAL on Broadway

It has been announced that Grammy Award winner and two-time Tony Award nominee Shoshana Bean (Hell’s Kitchen, Wicked, Mr. Saturday Night, Waitress) will star as Lucy Emerson in the world premiere of THE LOST BOYS, A NEW MUSICAL, which begins preview performances at Broadway’s Palace Theatre on 27 March.

Bean will star alongside LJ Benet as Michael Emerson, Ali Louis Bourzgui as David, Benjamin Pajak as Sam Emerson, Maria Wirries as Star, Paul Alexander Nolan as Max, Jennifer Duka as Alan Frog, Miguel Gil as Edgar Frog, Brian Flores as Marko, Sean Grandillo as Dwayne, and Dean Maupin as Paul. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Director Michael Arden said: “I’m beyond excited to welcome my longtime friend and singular artist Shoshana Bean to the cast as Lucy. Shoshana brings an electrifying voice, a fearless heart, and a deep humanity to everything she touches, onstage and off. The new musical THE LOST BOYS, based on the Warner Bros. Pictures film, has a book by David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, music and lyrics by The Rescues, direction by Michael Arden, choreography by Lauren Yalango-Grant and Christopher Cree Grant, music supervision by two-time Tony Award nominee Ethan Popp, orchestrations and musical arrangements by Ethan Popp and The Rescues, vocal arrangements by The Rescues, set design by Tony Award winner Dane Laffrey, costumes by Ryan Park, lighting by Jen Schriever and Michael Arden, sound design by Adam Fisher, aerial design by Gwyneth Larsen and Billy Mulholland, hair and wig design by David Brian Brown, and casting by The Telsey Office Craig Burns, CSA and Kristian Charbonier, CSA.
