Sherie Rene Scott joins cast of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW on Broadway

The producers of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show have announced that three-time Tony Award-nominee Sherie Rene Scott (Everyday Rapture, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) will join the widely and critically acclaimed Tony-nominated production as Magenta from 26 June.

Scott will step into the role following the departure of current cast member Juliette Lewis who plays her final performance on 16 June.

She will join current cast members: Rachel Dratch as Narrator, Andrew Durand as Brad, Luke Evans as Frank-N-Furter, Amber Gray as Riff Raff, Harvey Guillén as Eddie/Dr. Scott, Stephanie Hsu as Janet, Josh Rivera as Rocky, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as Columbia. The cast also includes Renée Albulario, Anania, Boy Radio, Caleb Quezon, Andres Quintero, Larkin Reilly, Paul Soileau, and John Yi. Current understudy Anania will play the role of Magenta from 17-25 June.

The Rocky Horror Show, directed by Tony Award-winner Sam Pinkleton, continues to play at Studio 54 on Broadway, featuring a creative team consisting of choreographer Ani Taj, music supervisor Kris Kukul, set designer dots, costume designer David I. Reynoso, lighting designer Jane Cox, sound designer Brian Ronan, wig & hair designer Alberto “Albee” Alvarado, and make-up designer Sterling Tull.
