Fringe review: LYNN FERGUSON - STORYLAND, Gilded Balloon - Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Award-winning writer, performer, Moth host, show-off and Mac in Chicken Run 1 and 2, Lynn Ferguson takes us through her Storyland. The dangers of too many cats, the mystery of Nana Mouskouri and how it can often be tricky to tell Los Angeles and Grangemouth apart. Part stand-up, part confessional and 99.9% honest, Storyland explains how the casual tales we tell, show who we really are.

Ferguson is a great storyteller. She manages to make even the most difficult story hilarious. Told with such honesty that you forget there are other people in the room, it feels like it's just the two of you having a nice chat.

The content of Storyland covers a wide range of subjects (no spoilers here Besties, you need to hear them for yourselves). Most are endearing, some are shocking, but all are told in such a delightful way that you can't help but laugh out loud.

If you're looking for an easy going show with plenty of fun, then this is the one to choose.

Engaging, entertaining and just so, so funny!
