Fringe review: BEATS ON POINTE, Masters of Choreography - Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Combining ballet and street dance with a magnificent blend of classic and commercial dance music, this show has travelled from Australia to London's West End. Showcasing a wonderful cast of multi-talented dance athletes, this is Australia's hottest commercial dance theatre production.

The choreography for this production is outstanding, with dance offs between classical ballet and modern street dance, Beyonce moves in six inch heels and moonwalking in pointe shoes; you'd be hard pressed not to be blown away with this production.

The costume design is varied, from tutu's which light up to sparkling sequins and beautifully flowing gowns that are lit in a way that makes them appear even more glamourous.

Incredibly talented dancers with remarkable stamina from start to finish make this performance stand out. It's suitable for the whole family and is a great afternoon’s viewing at this year’s Fringe.

A magnificent blend of dance styles and musical beats.
