Fringe review: A COMEDY OF OPERAS, Yllana - Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Five exceptional opera singers bring us their comedic style with a spectacular love story, fusing pop hits with world famous arias, you'll be surprised at how many you already know!

Language is no barrier for these guys as they use their signature style of comedy to tell their tale. Hilarious characters combine the traditional with the modern to create a new sound that even the most unknowing opera fans can't help but sing along and clap their hands to.

The costumes are incredible. Bright colours, which shine under the lighting design, have a feel of part-circus, part-steam punk to them and add an appeal to the production that we weren't expecting.

It's a brilliant show to introduce anyone to opera. Whether they are a bit scared of the genre itself or haven't had an opportunity to experience it live before, this is the one to try.

Suitable for the whole family to enjoy, its a beautifully funny way to spend time together.

A colourful cadenza!
