Rachel Zegler’s ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’ from EVITA now available to stream

Following her West End debut as Eva Perón in Jamie Lloyd’s radical new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita at The London Palladium, Hollywood and Broadway sensation Rachel Zegler has released her powerful rendition of ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’ - now available worldwide on all major streaming platforms.

As one of the most iconic songs in musical theatre history, this release also includes bonus track ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina - Live from The Balcony’, captured live during what has already been hailed as “the theatrical moment of the summer”. Rachel performs the song from the balcony of the Palladium live to crowds gathered on the street below and projected back inside the theatre. The moment became a must-see spectacle, captivating London and theatre fans worldwide with videos generating over 150 million views online.

The release of Zegler’s rendition of ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’ gained support on Spotify’s Broadway Hits, All New Pop, and New Music Friday playlists, Apple Music’s New Music Daily, and topped the UK Soundtrack chart on iTunes.

The digital release of ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’ follows the exclusive 7” physical vinyl single, available at The London Palladium and online while stocks last. Upon its release, the vinyl hit No. 1 in the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart, above Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan.
