Preview: MUNDO PIXAR LONDON, Wembley Park

We had the privilege of attending the launch event of the Mundo Pixar Live Experience at Wembley Park last night, and it truly felt like stepping back into childhood and into the heart of Pixar.

Upon your arrival, you are welcomed into a large open space filled with colourful visuals, familiar music, and recognisable Pixar imagery that sets the tone immediately. The experience begins in small groups, initiated by an energetic host who explains what’s ahead, followed by a nostalgic Pixar montage video that represents the magic and memories of the films.

The experience is made up of a series of large, immersive rooms, each inspired by a different Pixar movie, including Inside Out, Monsters, Inc., Up, Cars, and Toy Story, plus many more. Each room is beautifully done, with colours, lighting, music, and large-scale sets carefully designed to match its film. The attention to detail really helps you feel fully immersed. A standout is the Toy Story room, where you’re made to feel like a tiny toy inside a child’s bedroom, which is such a clever and memorable touch. It’s hard not to love any of the rooms though.

There are plenty of fun photo opportunities throughout, along with some interactive elements in each room. While these are enjoyable, it would have been great to have even more hands-on moments. A printed map of the layout would also have been helpful to track your progress and as a souvenir to take home.

The staff are fantastic throughout. They are friendly, upbeat, and happy to help with photos, directions, or pointing out hidden features. One fun detail is the famous yellow Pixar ball, which is hidden in every room, and is a great little challenge to keep an eye out for.

This is a brilliant day out for families and children, but just as enjoyable for adults. We were two grown adults and we absolutely loved it! The experience is nostalgic, bringing beloved films we grew up with together with newer favourites, showing Pixar’s truly multi-generational appeal.

A heartwarming, immersive experience that captures the magic of Pixar perfectly.

Mundo Pixar London is currently booking at Wembley Park until 28 June, with further info here.
