New musical GOIN’ HOLLYWOOD to play at King’s Head Theatre

Following a near sold-out run and rave reviews at WaterTower Theatre in 2023, Goin’ Hollywood, the dazzling new musical by Stephen Cole and David Krane, will make its international debut at London’s King’s Head Theatre on 14 & 15 September, featuring a West End cast.

Goin’ Hollywood is a big-hearted, time-traveling musical packed with golden-age glamour, heartfelt discoveries, and a timeless message about identity, purpose, and belonging. With a sweeping score by David Krane, a protégé of both Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, and a witty, poignant book by award-winning playwright Stephen Cole, this is a rare gem in modern musical theatre—a show that is both emotionally deep and also spectacularly Broadway.

The cast includes Miriam Teak-Lee as Alice Chandler and Zach Sorrow as Garson Stein, Oliver Savile as A J Engerman, May Tether as Nancy Karinski, and Mark Oxtoby as L B Meyer, with Adam Colbeck-Dunn, Joaquin Pedro Valdes, Joseph Vella, and Zak Edwards as Writers/Wonderlads, and Frances Gilbert and Ruby Hewitt in the female ensemble.

The UK run is directed and choreographed by Broadway legend JoAnn M. Hunter, with casting by Tom Brewis-Scott.

As Goin’ Hollywood takes the stage in London, its journey from Texas to the UK marks an exciting step for this original musical. Backed by a world renowned creative team and generous investors, Goin Hollywood is poised to captivate new audiences and continue its path towards a larger West End or Broadway debut.
