New casting announced for remaining UK & Ireland tour dates of WAR HORSE
The National Theatre has announced casting for the remaining tour dates of the smash hit UK and Ireland tour of War Horse, which continues to play until 8 November.
Joining the company are Danny Hendrix (101 Dalmatians, UK Tour) as Veterinary Officer Martin, Clara Lioe (The Three Musketeers, New Vic Theatre) as Emilie/Joey as a Foal, and Christopher Naylor (The Woman in Black, West End) as Private Klausen/Priest.

The remaining tour dates of this UK and Ireland tour are The Alexandra, Birmingham (10 – 19 July), New Wimbledon Theatre (5 – 16 August), Leeds Grand Theatre (19 August – 6 September), Newcastle Theatre Royal (10 – 20 September), Edinburgh Festival Theatre (2 – 11 October), Wales Millennium Centre (15 – 25 October), and Norwich Theatre Royal (28 October – 8 November).
Creative development for the tour has been led by Tom Morris with revival director Katie Henry, featuring reimagined designs by Rae Smith and additional music by Adrian Sutton. The production features puppet design and fabrication by Adrian Kohler for Handspring Puppet Company, lighting by Rob Casey, movement and horse choreography by Toby Sedgwick, puppet direction by Matthew Forbes, animation and projection design by Nicol Scott for 59 Productions, songmaking by John Tams, sound by Christopher Shutt, casting by Jill Green CDG, musical direction by Dom Coyote, fight direction by Paul Benzing, voice coaching by Carol Fairlamb, and dialect coaching by Rebecca Daltry.
