New casting announced for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! in the West End

New casting has been announced for the West End transfer of the critically acclaimed and Olivier Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, currently running at the Wyndham’s Theatre until 2 September.

From 15 May, joining the company will be David King-Yombo (The Ballad of St John’s Carpark, Icon Theatre) as Mike, Paige Peddie (Dreamgirls, UK tour) as Ado Annie, and Sally Ann Triplett (Berlusconi, Southwark Playhouse) as Aunt Eller. They will play alongside Arthur Darvill as Curly McLain, James Patrick Davis as Will Parker, Stavros Demetraki as Ali Hakim, Greg Hicks as Andrew Carnes, Rebekah Hinds as Gertie Cummings, Anoushka Lucas as Laurey Williams, Marie-Astrid Mence as Lead Dancer, and Patrick Vaill as Jud Fry.

Completing the cast are Andrew Berlin, Arthur Boan, Shani Cantor, Anna-Maria de Freitas, George Maddison, Brianna Ogunbawo, Finlay Paul, and Helen K Wint.

Listed as the most recommended show of 2022 and 2023, the production won the 2023 Olivier Award and WhatsOnStage Award for Best Musical Revival, with Arthur Darvill also collecting the Olivier for Best Actor in a Musical. The show also won the Critics’ Circle and Evening Standard Award for Best Musical, and Best Musical Performance for Patrick Vaill.

Reimagined for the stage by Daniel Fish, the production played a sold-out run at the Young Vic last year, having previously transferred to Broadway from St. Ann’s Warehouse winning the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival.
