New British musical UNFOLDING announces casting for Peterborough production
Casting has been announced for the concert production of new British musical, Unfolding, at Peterborough’s Key Theatre on 13 November.
This special full-show presentation will demonstrate why this award-winning new British musical made waves with its London industry sharing at The Other Palace; and why it already has a Canadian production in the works.
Tackling difficult subjects with a comedic lightness of touch and through songs that have received wide praise from audience and reviewers alike, Unfolding will stay with you long after the watch.
The musical stars Charlotte Harwood (Legally Blonde) as Rose, and Glenn Adamson (Bat Out of Hell) as Mark, with Chloe Hall as Tessa, Victoria Jones as Florence, Ellie Baldwin as Natasha, Samantha Billing as Carly, and Michael Broom as The Ensembler.
Rose and Mark have been pen pals since they were twelve years old. They've shared everything in their little world made from ink...at least, that's what they thought. Some shocking news is about to force Rose into a long-awaited confrontation with her own emotions; driving her to board a plane to America, process her own father's suicide, and find the courage to confront the man she thought she knew in Mark. The emotional journey might just save a life; and let Rose lay the foundations for a future she can finally dare to see.
Featuring the award-winning ‘It Starts Small’ (released last year in collaboration with Ramin Karimloo), this emotional and life-affirming musical, written by award-winning comic book author Emma Vieceli, is enjoying its next chapter as part of Landmark Theatres' Landmark Loading Festival for new and developing work, with thanks to the Key Seed Commission programme and Arts Council England.
