MAGIC MIKE LIVE brings exclusive preview of global touring production to Aylesbury Waterside
The global phenomenon created and co-directed by Channing Tatum, Magic Mike Live is developing an all-new staging of the hit show that will tour internationally beginning in early 2027 and is giving UK fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of its creation.
In a strictly-limited six-show engagement at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, fans will take in the full show featuring new scenes and an entirely new set before the production embarks on a remarkable live tour around the world next year.
President of Content & Production at Free Association Live, Vincent Marini, said: “Nearly a million guests have joined us for more than 3,000 performances of Magic Mike Live at The Hippodrome Casino in London. Our fans across the UK are the ones who’ve made this dream possible, so when we began conceiving the international tour a few years ago, we knew immediately that they should be the first ones to experience this new show and help us further develop it before it heads out across the globe to Australia and Asia next year. This will be the first time the show will play anywhere outside of The Hippodrome in the UK, and we couldn’t be more excited to take this experience to the next level.”
Aylesbury audiences will be the very first in the world to be a part of the pioneering production that’s unlike anything performed before. The new staging experience will feature Magic Mike Live’s largest cast to date performing all-new routines with new musical numbers and choreography, new costumes, and a monumental venue design that will transform a traditional theatre space into an unforgettable immersive experience from the stalls and circle levels to new onstage seating, putting each guest at the epicentre of the action.
Marini added: “This is the most ambitious production of Magic Mike Live we have ever created, a genuinely new show staged at a scale we have never attempted before, and on behalf of Channing and our entire creative team, we would love our fans from across the UK to join us and become a part of this exciting new chapter.”
While the show will feature many new elements, tried and true Magic Mike Live fans will still enjoy the show’s thrilling and inspiring storyline and fan-favourite moments. The production team will also partner with the theatre to bring beverage service, including the show’s famous cocktail program, straight to your seat so no one has to miss a moment of the action. And after each show, fans will have the unique opportunity to meet and mingle with members of the cast, with a limited number of VIP Meet & Greet add-on tickets available.
This production of Magic Mike Live is co-directed and choreographed by Emmy-nominated choreographer Alison Faulk, with choreographer and associate director Luke Broadlick, music supervisior and composer Jack London, set designers Rob Bissinger and Anita LaScala of ARDA Studio, costume director Marina Toybina, aerial choreographer and apparatus designer Dreya Weber, lighting designer Philip Gladwell sound designer Nick Kourtides, and casting director Katie Zanca Spalding.
Magic Mike Live’s sneak preview engagement will play six shows only at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre from 27-29 August. All guests must be 18 years of age or older.
