London revival of KISS ME, KATE to play at Barbican Centre

A revival of Kiss Me, Kate will play at the Barbican Centre for a limited 15-week run from 4 June, it has been announced.

Known to many as Cole Porter’s greatest musical comedy, the cast features Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) in his musical theatre debut as Fred Graham/Petruchio, alongside Tony Award winner Stephanie J Block (Into the Woods, The Cher Show, 9 to 5) making her West End debut as Lilli Vanessi/Katharine.

This new production will be directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher and will feature a 50-strong cast and a full orchestra.

The creative team will also include choreographer Anthony Van Laast, set designer Michael Yeargan, costume designer Catherine Zuber, lighting designer Donald Holder, sound designer Adam Fisher, and music supervisor Stephen Ridley.
