Lead cast and creative team announced for first UK tour production of BURLESQUE THE MUSICAL

The lead cast and creative team has been announced for the first UK tour production of the spectacular Burlesque the Musical today, which begins performances at Woking Theatre on 25 July.

A second new production of Burlesque the Musical, starring Olivier Award winning Cassidy Janson as Tess, will return to London this September at brand new West End venue, The Arts at Marble Arch. Full casting to be announced soon.

The touring cast includes Faye Brookes (Coronation Street, ITV) as Tess Richarde, Ryan Carter (Titanique, West End) as both Sean & Ms Loretta, recent graduate Gracie O’Brien as Ali Rose, Davide Fienauri (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Curve/UK tour) as Vince, Tyler Davis (Sunset Blvd, West End/Broadway) as Jackson, and Vanessa Ela Young (Moulin Rouge the Musical, West End) as Nikki.

Written by Steven Antin, the production is directed by Racky Plews, with choreography by Robin Antin and Aaron Renfree, orchestrations and arrangements by Tom Curran, musical supervision by Adam Langston, musical direction by Rob Wicks, set design by Sara Perks, lighting by Joshie Harriette, costumes by Marco Marco, sound by Ben Harrison, video design by Duncan McLean, wigs design by Marco Marco and Jess & Jo for JJ Wigs, make-up design by Dominic Skinner, and casting by Harry Blumenau CDG CSA.

Following Woking, the tour will visit Sunderland, Stoke-on-Trent, Cardiff, Glasgow, Bradford, Southend, Birmingham, Sheffield, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Liverpool, Blackpool, Manchester, Northampton, Edinburgh, Llandudno, York, Wolverhampton, Hull, Oxford, Wimbledon, and Canterbury.
