Kenneth Branagh’s ROMEO & JULIET to return to cinemas this July

Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet will once again make a return to cinemas when Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company’s production hits the big screen from 7 July.

The production, which stars Lily James and Richard Madden in the title roles, was first seen on the West End and then in cinemas in 2016.

Derek Jacobi stars as Mercutio, with Meera Syal asThe Nurse. The production is co-directed by Branagh and Rob Ashford, and originally ran as part of the inaugural Plays at the Garrick season. 

The cinema release will be produced by Trafalgar Releasing who will collaborate with Fiery Angel.
