Jeremy Jordan set to return to THE GREAT GATSBY on Broadway

Producers of Broadway hit The Great Gatsby have announced that the musical’s two-time Tony Award-nominated original star Jeremy Jordan will return to the role of Jay Gatsby from 10 November at The Broadway Theatre.
Jordan returns to the musical after earning his second Tony nomination for his performance in the title role of last season’s critically-acclaimed revival of Floyd Collins at Lincoln Center Theater.
In celebration of his homecoming, the production has released a new music video of Jordan and the musical’s current Daisy Buchanan, Aisha Jackson, performing a special mashup of the show’s signature duet ‘My Green Light’ with the pop hits ‘Green Light’ by Lorde and Green Light’ by John Legend.
The award-winning and record-breaking musical continues to roar on, with a new block of tickets now on sale until 6 September 2026.
Jordan joins Aisha Jackson as Daisy Buchanan, Michael Maliakel as Nick, Linedy Genao as Myrtle Wilson, Austin Colby as Tom Buchanan, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Eric Anderson as Meyer Wolfsheim. Ryan McCartan plays his final performance as Jay Gatsby on 9 November.
Completing the production’s ensemble are Alexis Hasbrouck, Curtis Holland, Nathaniel Hunt, Traci Elaine Lee, Dariana Mullen, Mariah Reives, Dan Rosales, Dave Schoonover, Tess Soltau, Kyla Stone, Derek Jordan Taylor, Preston Taylor, and Jessica Mallare White, with swings Runako Campbell, Kurt Csolak, Haley Fish, Carissa Gaughran, Morgan Harrison, Justin Keats, Brandon J. Large, Alex Prakken, and Elena Ricardo.
Through an electrifying jazz and pop-infused score, featuring music & lyrics by Tony Award nominees Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen, The Great Gatsby was adapted for the Broadway stage by Jonathan Larson Grant-winning playwright Kait Kerrigan, award-winning director Marc Bruni, and choreographer Dominique Kelley.
The musical features Drama Desk Award-winning set & projection design by Paul Tate de Poo III, Tony Award-winning costume design by Linda Cho, sound design by Tony Award winner Brian Ronan, lighting design by Cory Pattak (Spamalot), hair & wig design by Drama Desk Award winner Charles G.
