James Jordan waltzes into Worthing as Rumpelstiltskin in PUSS IN BOOTS
Waltzing his way into Worthing’s Christmas pantomime Puss in Boots from 3 December 2026 - 3 January 2027 will be former Strictly Come Dancing professional, Dancing on Ice winner, and TV personality James Jordan in the iconic role of Rumpelstiltskin.
Best known to millions as one of the standout professionals from the hit BBC series, James became a firm favourite with viewers thanks to his electrifying Latin performances, razor-sharp technique and unmistakable stage presence. A champion ballroom and Latin dancer, he built his reputation on dynamic routines, passion and natural showmanship - the perfect ingredients for commanding the Pavilion stage and earning the chorus of boos every great panto baddie dreams of.
Creative and Managing Director for pantomime producers Paul Holman Associates (PHA), Nick George, said: “James is the perfect choice to bring Rumpelstiltskin to life in Puss in Boots. The wicked sparkle, charisma and cheeky banter audiences know and love from his television appearances make him a natural panto villain, and I know Worthing audiences are going to love booing him every night from 3 December through to the 3 January!
Currently in production for his new podcast, James Jordan said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be heading to Worthing this Christmas to play the villainous Rumpelstiltskin in Puss in Boots. I love panto season and there’s nothing better than hearing the audience boo the baddie every night! It’s going to be such a fun, magical show for the whole family and I can’t wait to see everyone at the Pavilion Theatre.”
