Initial casting announced for revival of MY FAIR LADY at London Coliseum

It has been announced that Amara Okereke will lead the cast in the upcoming revival of My Fair Lady, running at the London Coliseum from 7 May-27 August.

Okereke (Spring Awakening, Les Miserables) will star as Eliza Doolittle alongside Harry Hadden-Paton as Professor Henry Higgins (who reprises his role from the critically acclaimed Lincoln Center production), Vanessa Redgrave as Mrs Higgins, Maureen Beattie as Mrs Pearce and Sharif Afifi as Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

This marks the first major West End revival of Lerner & Loewe’s much-loved musical for 21 years.

Directed by Bartlett Sher, this sublime production will feature the English National Opera orchestra playing Frederick Loewe’s music, with sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Donald Holder, sound by Marc Salzberg, musical direction by Gareth Valentine, musical supervision by Ted Sperling, and choreography by Christopher Gattelli.
