Hackney Empire announces full cast and creative team for CINDERELLA

Following the success of 2024’s pantomime, Dick Whittington and his Cat, Hackney Empire has announced the full cast and creative team for its 2025 pantomime Cinderella, directed by Clive Rowe, which runs from 22 November-31 December.

The cast includes Jade Johnson (& Juliet, UK tour) as the Fairy Godmother, Siobhan James (Moulin Rouge, West End) as Cinderella, Nicholas McLean (The Addams Family, West End/UK tour) as Buttons, Alexandra Waite-Roberts (The Witches, National Theatre) as Oblivia, the Wicked Stepmother, Kat B returns for his 20th Hackney Empire pantomime as Flatula, an Ugly Sister, George Heyworth (Bourgeois & Maurice) as Nausea, an Ugly Sister, Chrissie Bhima (Tina! The Musical, West End) as Dandini, and Luke Latchman (Sunset Boulevard, West End) as Prince Charming, with Christian De-Gallerie, Alex Ferro, Vieve Hamilton, Anna Maria Barber, Eloise Simpson, Clio Tamai and Matthew Tratch in the ensemble.

The creative team also includes writer Will Brenton, composer Steven Edis, designer Cleo Pettitt, musical director and musical arranger Wendy Gadian, choreographer Michael Ward, lighting designer Tim Mitchell, and sound designer Richard Bell.

Hackney Empire Executive Director and CEO, Jo Hemmant, said: ”It feels very special to be announcing the full cast and creative team for Cinderella, which will be my last pantomime as Executive Director here. Hackney pantomime has always been about joy, community and world-class talent on our stage, and this year will be no exception. Cinderella promises to be a truly magical finale to my time at Hackney Empire.”
