Gripping plots, dark humour and breathless action this summer at the Theatre Royal Nottingham

Colin McIntyre classic thriller season

It has been announced that Tabs Productions and Theatre Royal Nottingham will present a month-long season of Colin McIntyre thrillers to socially distanced audiences from 22 June.

The season will open with Brian Clemens & Dennis Spooner’s All About Murder, running from 22-26 June, followed by Father Brown – The Murderer in the Mirror (based on the classic mysteries by G K Chesterton) from 29 June-3 July. Kiss of Death by Simon Williams will play from 6-9 July, with the season ending on Alfred Bradley & Ken Whitmore’s The Final Twist from 12-17 July.

Co-producer of the season for Tabs Productions, Karen Henson, said: “The past year has been a difficult time for everyone, but we are delighted to have had the chance to stream a digital version of the Victorian Chiller, The Black Veil onstage for the Theatre Royal’s YouTube channel last year. However, this summer, we are so excited to return to the Theatre Royal for the Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season, to perform in front of a real-life audience!’

Tickets to all four productions are now on sale via The Theatre Royal website here.
