Further tour dates added for UK & Ireland tour of Disney’s ALADDIN

Further tour dates have been added for the first UK and Ireland tour of Disney’s Aladdin, which opens in Edinburgh next month.

Following Edinburgh, the show will visit Cardiff, Plymouth, Sunderland and Milton Keynes before playing in the newly announced Manchester, Bristol, Bradford, Southampton, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Liverpool.

The cast includes Yeukayi Ushe as Genie, Gavin Adams as Aladdin, Desmonda Cathabel as Jasmine (in Edinburgh, with casting for the role in future venues to be announced soon), Adam Strong as Jafar, Jo Servi as Sultan, Angelo Paragoso as Iago, Nay-Nay as Babkak, Adam Taylor as Omar and Nelson Bettencourt as Kassim.

Completing the cast are Hannah Amin, Dammi Aregbeshola, Rico Bakker, Daisy Barnett, Sarah Benbelaid, Erin Gisele Chapman, Tau-En Chien, Zac Frieze, Juan Jackson, James Lim, Harriet Millier, Aaron Elijah Patel, Abbie Platts, Joseph Poulton, Olivier Scheers, Kerry Spark, Ricardo Spriggs, Damien Winchester and Niko Wirachman.

The stage show has new music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin, with a book by Beguelin, direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw, set design by Bob Crowley, lighting by Natasha Katz, costumes by Gregg Barnes,, sound by Ken Travis, illusion design by Jim Steinmeyer and Rob Lake, music supervision and music direction by Michael Kosarin, orchestrations by Danny Troob, dance music arrangements by Glen Kelly, and casting by Jill Green CDG.
