Further casting announced for Ralph Fiennes/Theatre Royal Bath season

Award-winning comedian and actor Dylan Moran, BAFTA winner Francesca Annis, and TV stars Patrick Robinson and Charlie Rowe are amongst the cast announced today as part of the Ralph Fiennes/Theatre Royal Bath season.

Dylan Moran will play Touchstone, Patrick Robinson (Casualty, BBC) will play Duke Senior and Duke Frederick, and Charlie Rowe (Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, BBC) will play Orlando, opposite the previously announced Dame Harriet Walter as Jaques, and Gloria Obianyo as Rosalind, in the new production of Shakespeare’s comedy AS YOU LIKE IT, directed by Ralph Fiennes, which plays from 15 August-6 September.

The cast for AS YOU LIKE IT also includes Sam Alexander as Le Beau/First Lord, Hannah Azuonye as Lady-In-Waiting/Lord in Arden, Matt Ray Brown as Dennis/Lord in Arden, Michael Brophy as Corin, Imogen Elliott as Phebe, Matt Gavan as Sir Oliver Martext, Amber Grappy as Audrey, Emilio Iannucci as Jaques de Boys, Amber James as Celia, Paul Jesson as Adam, Nitai Levi as Amiens, Jake Neads as Oliver, Richard Pryal as Charles/William/Lord in Arden, and Ethan Thomas as Silvius.

Francesca Annis (Lillie, ITV) will play Athena, alongside Ralph Fiennes as Larry, in the world premiere of SMALL HOTEL, a new play by acclaimed playwright and screenwriter Rebecca Lenkiewicz, and directed by Holly Race Roughan. The production will play at Theatre Royal Bath from 3-18 October.

In SMALL HOTEL, Larry, an acclaimed TV celebrity whose life and career are rapidly unravelling. As he is forced to unpick his past and confront his future, the audience are introduced to a collection of unforgettable character, including his troubled twin brother Richard, his unpredictable former lover Marianne, and his domineering mother Athena. Further casting is to be announced.

The Ralph Fiennes/Theatre Royal Bath Season opens on 27 June with GRACE PERVADES, the world premiere of a new play by David Hare, starring Ralph Fiennes as the legendary Henry Irving alongside Miranda Raison as his wife Ellen Terry.
