Full casting announced for UK premiere of MIDNIGHT AT THE NEVER GET

The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced full casting for Midnight at The Never Get, which plays at the London venue from 11 July - 12 September.

With a book, music and lyrics by Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy-winner Mark Sonnenblick, and joining the previously announced Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-winner Ben Platt will be Gregor Milne (Teeth ‘n’ Smiles, West End) and Barry James (Little Shop of Horrors, Menier Chocolate Factory/West End)

The production includes direction by Drama Desk and Tony Award-winner David Cromer, set design by Scott Pask, costumes by Jonathan Lipman, lighting by Heather Gilbert, sound by Paul Groothuis, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Andrew Resnick.

1965, New York City. Trevor Copeland and Arthur Brightman’s romance is against the law.

In their secret nightclub act, "Midnight", they perform love songs in an act of defiance of a world that demands they stay hidden. As tensions rise at the start of a historic movement, Trevor and Arthur are torn between their own surreptitious affair and the oncoming storm of social revolution.
