Full casting announced for Shakespeare’s AS YOU LIKE IT at @sohoplace
Full casting has been announced for @sohoplace’s first original production, William Shakespeare’s As You Like It, which runs from 6 December 2022 - 28 January 2023.
Directed by Josie Rourke, the production stars the previously announced Leah Harvey (The Wonderful World of Dissocia, Theatre Royal Stratford East) as Rosalind, Rose Ayling-Ellis (Eastenders, BBC) as Celia, Alfred Enoch (Crave, Chichester Festival Theatre) as Orlando, Tom Mison (The Way Of The World, Donmar Warehouse) as Touchstone, with Martha Plimpton (Sweat, Donmar Warehouse/West End) in the role of Jaques. Further casting includes Allie Daniel (Legally Blonde, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) as Amiens, Tom Edden (Crazy For You, Chichester Festival Theatre) as Duke Frederick, Dickon Gough (City of Angels, West End) as Charles, Gabriella Leon (Police Cops: The Musical, Assembly One) as Audrey, Mary Malone (Vera, ITV) as Phoebe, Syakira Moeladi (professional stage debut) as Hisperia, Nathan Queeley-Dennis (Black Love, Kiln Theatre) as Silvius, Cal Watson (The Peripheral, Amazon Prime) as Le Beau, June Watson (A Doll’s House, Part 2, Donmar Warehouse) as Adam and Corin, and Ben Wiggins (Coriolanus, Sheffield Crucible) as Oliver.
The production is designed by Rob Jones, with lighting by Howard Harrison, sound by John Leonard, and music by Michael Bruce.
