Full casting announced for Agatha Christie's THE HOLLOW
Full casting has been announced the UK & Ireland tour of The Hollow, which opens at Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on 9 October.
Joining the previously announced Peter Polycarpou as Hercule Poirot will be Luke Allen-Gale (California Avenue, BBC) as John Cristow/Inspector Colquhoun, Victoria Blunt (A Christmas Carol, RSC) as Henrietta Angkatell, James Clyde (Top Hat, Chichester Festival Theatre/UK tour) as Gudgeon, Grace Darling (The Mousetrap, West End) as Midge, Kemi-Bo Jacobs (Hamnet, RSC) as Veronica Craye, Sarah Moyle (Inside No. 9 / Stage Fright, Hammersmith Apollo/UK tour) as Lady Lucy Angkatell, Noella Naibaho (professional stage debut) as Doris, Michael Praed (The Sound of Music, UK tour) as Sir Henry Angkatell, James Sheldon (Much Ado About Nothing, Orange Tree Theatre) as Edward Angkatell, and Tilly Steele (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Curve) as Gerda Cristow. Also in the cast is Paula Hines.
Following sell-out tours of And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, producers Fiery Angel and director Lucy Bailey partner once again to bring one of Agatha Christie’s most psychologically charged mysteries to the stage.
In a new version by Tamsin Oglesby (National Theatre, Old Vic Theatre, RSC), the production also visits Truro, Richmond, Belfast, Newcastle, Cardiff, Guildford, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Brighton, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Cheltenham, Malvern, Sheffield, Bath, Plymouth, Salford, Norwich, Dublin, York, and Glasgow, with further venues to be announced.

At The Hollow, an elegant country estate, a glamorous circle of guests gather together one summer evening. But beneath the sunlit charm, something darker coils. Old passions refuse to die. New rivalries ignite. Dangerous infatuations take hold. Then — a shot rings out.
A body is discovered. A smoking revolver in an unsteady hand. The scene appears almost staged; a shockingly straightforward crime…. It is anything but.
The production features set and costume design by Joanna Parker, lighting by Chris Davey, sound and composition by Nick Powell, and casting by Ginny Schiller.
