Full cast announced for PUBLIC - THE MUSICAL at Curve

Full casting has been announced for PUBLIC – THE MUSICAL as the standout hit Edinburgh Fringe show is set to enjoy a new life at Leicester’s Curve theatre from 30 May - 13 June.
PUBLIC – THE MUSICAL tells the story of four strangers trapped inside a public toilet. Grace Towning (SCISSORHANDZ, Southwark Playhouse Elephant) will play the ultra-woke activist, Zo; with Matt Corner (CLOSE UP, Menier Chocolate Factory) as Lycra-clad city banker on his way home, Andrew; Ivano Turco (EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE, UK tour) as sweat-soaked stress case, Finley; and Cole Dennis (DEAR EVAN HANSEN, West End) as people pleaser on the way to their wedding, Laura.
Created by the collective Stroud and Notes, PUBLIC – THE MUSICAL is written and directed by Hannah Sands, with music by Kyla Stroud, choreography by Natalie Stroud, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Olivia Zacharia.
The creative team also includes set and costume design by Amy Jane Cook, lighting by Katy Morison, musical direction by Livs Needham, and casting by Harry Blumenau Casting.
The musical was first performed at the VAULT Festival 2023, where it received the VAULT Festival Origins Award. The production then went on to play a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe that and was listed as Playbill’s ‘Pick of the Fringe’.
Four strangers. A gender-neutral public toilet. No way out. The scene is set for an unmissable new musical packed with emotion, comedy and joy.
