Full cast announced for LORD OF THE FLIES at Chichester Festival Theatre

Full casting has been announced for Anthony Lau’s new production of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, in Nigel Williams’s much admired stage adaptation, which plays at Chichester Festival Theatre from 19 September – 11 October.

This compelling adventure takes us into the heart of darkness. A modern classic, Lord of the Flies has lost none of its riveting power since its publication in 1954 and is frequently ranked high in lists of iconic novels.

The cast includes Hiroki Berrecloth (Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) as Maurice, Sheyi Cole (The Beautiful Game) as Ralph, Ali Hadji-Heshmati (Bad Education) as Simon, Bertie Hawes (Call the Midwife) as Eric, Alfie Jallow (Nurses Come and Go But None for Me) as Piggy, Cal O'Driscoll (Vikings: Valhalla) as Roger, Nevil Patel (professional debut) as Henry, Ruben Reuter (The Dumping Ground) as Perceval, Ethan Rouse (Sunset at the Villa Thalia) as Sam, Jonathan Savage (London Road) as Parachutist/Naval Officer, Tucker St. Ivany (The Grapes of Wrath) as Jack, and Riley Woodford (Hex) as Bill.

The production will be directed by Anthony Lau, with design by Georgia Lowe, lighting by Matt Daw, music and sound design by Giles Thomas, movement direction by Aline David, musical direction by Chris Poon, fight and intimacy direction by Bethan Clark, and casting by Jacob Sparrow.
