Flat-tastic brand new musical, The Shocking Truth About Flat Earth, will play at The Cockpit in London for two nights only on 23 & 24 October.

The Shocking Truth About Flat Earth is a hilarious, original musical about a woman who believes the Earth is flat. Join Sharon, best friend Debs, and an unlikely bunch of misfits as they set out to discover the truth about the shape of the world — and, along the way, their place in it.

Sharon Hargreaves is disconnected from her friends, her family, and herself – spending her days lost in an online community of people who believe Earth is flat. When she finally decides to visit a Flat Earth convention in Vegas, a moment of mistaken identity propels her on an incredible journey to (literally) the end of the earth… with hilarious, heartbreaking, and heartwarming consequences.

The cast includes Jenna Boyd (Come From Away, West End) as Sharon, Emma Thornett (101 Dalmatians, Eventim Apollo) as Debs, Tom Dickerson (Dear Evan Hansen, UK/Asia tour) as Bobby, Vivian Panka (9 to 5, UK tour) as Brody, Alex Cardell (The Jingleclaw, Birmingham Hippodrome) as Doug Earth, Emily Harrigan (Demon Dentist, UK tour) as Angela, Jamie Golding (The Lion King, West End) as Dave/Amos, and Reuben Khan (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grand Opera House York) in the ensemble.

This musical uses the 'flat earth' theory as a lens to explore something bigger: misinformation, belonging, and what we do when we're at our lowest.
