Disney Pixar’s COCO to be adapted for the stage

Disney on Broadway have announced that 2017 animated film Coco is being adapted for the stage.

Still in its early development stages, this marks Pixar’s first project to transfer to the theatre.

With a score by Michael Giacchino, and additional songs from Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the news was shared at a concert at Disney World’s EPCOT yesterday.

Further information including venues, dates, casting and creatives will be revealed at a later date.
