Casting announced for world premiere of THE WITCHING HOUR at Blue Orange Theatre

Casting has been revealed ahead of the world premiere of James Williams’ supernatural horror play The Witching Hour, which opens tonight (29 September) at Birmingham’s Blue Orange Theatre, playing until 21 October.

Jessica Porter (The Secret Garden) plays Erin, with Saul Bache (The Orphanage, The Wicked Lady) as Sam, Eleanor May Blackburn (Apartness, Bonnie and Clive) as Elspeth, and Mark Kitto (Ghosts, Macbeth) as Professor Dubois.

Inspired by the historic witch trials of the 17th century, The Witching Hour promises to leave audiences feeling both terrified and fascinated by the highly anticipated third instalment of their horror series.

The Witching Hour is written and directed by James Williams, with set and lighting design by Alex Johnson, and sound by Daniel Clarkson.
