Casting announced for The Watermill’s festive production RAPUNZEL

The full cast and creative team have been announced for the new production of Annie Siddon’s adaptation of the classic fairy tale Rapunzel, directed by Lucy Betts, which will play at The Watermill from 18 November 2022 - 1 January.  

The cast includes Miiya Alexandra (Amélie the Musical, West End) as Mother Gothel/Duchess, Emma Barclay (The Windsors: Endgame, West End) as Pierluigi Ambrosi/Baldozi, Jess Lobo (professional debut) as Prezze, Roddy Lynch (Kinky Boots, New Wolsey Theatre/Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch) as Paulo/Umberto/Shark, Tilly-Mae Millbrook (All My Sons, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch/New Wolsey Theatre) as Rapunzel, and Loris Scarpa (Doctors, BBC) as Patrizio.

Rapunzel by Annie Siddons was first presented by Kneehigh Theatre at Battersea Arts Centre in 2006. The new production will be directed by Lucy Betts, with movement direction by Adrian Quinton, design by Isobel Nicholson, composition, musical direction and sound by Tom Attwood, and lighting by Alex Musgrave.
