Cast and creative team announced for MILITARY WIVES - THE MUSICAL at York Theatre Royal

York Theatre Royal has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Debbie Isitt’s Military Wives - The Musical, which plays at the venue from 10-27 September.

Also directed by Debbie Isitt, the cast includes Kayla Carter (Sister Act, Australian tour) as Faith, Emma Crossley (I Should Be So Lucky, UK tour) as Bex, Jessica Daley (The Sound of Music, UK tour) as Jenny, Ashleigh Gray (Only Fools and Horses the Musical, West End) as Terri, Adrian Hansel (We Will Rock You, West End) as Luke, Sydney Isitt-Ager (Nativity the Musical, Birmingham Rep) as Sarah, Joe Kelly (Two Strangers (carry a cake across New York), West End) as Adam, Bobbie Little (Standing at the Sky’s Edge, West End/Sheffield Theatres) as Olive/Paula, Billy Roberts (Mrs Doubtfire the Musical, West End) as Dale/Simon/Andy, Caroline Sheen (9 to 5 the Musical, West End) as Susannah, Rachael Wooding (Pretty Woman the Musical, West End) as Krissy, and Stewart Wright (The Upstart Crow, West End) as Dave the Welfare Officer.

This new musical is inspired by the true story of the Military Wives choir and is based on the hit 2019 film Military Wives.

Joining writer/director Debbie Isitt to complete the creative team are arranger, orchestrator and musical supervisor George Dyer, designer Katie Lias, lighting designer Rory Beaton, sound designer Richard Brooker, movement director Rebecca Louis, and casting director Marc Frankum.
