Ella Beatty and Hugh Jackman to play 42 performances only in SEXUAL MISCONDUCT OF THE MIDDLE CLASSES

Audible, Inc. and new theatrical partnership led by Sonia Friedman and Hugh Jackman, TOGETHER, will present the New York stage premiere of Hannah Moscovitch’s Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes, starring Ella Beatty and Hugh Jackman, at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre from 28 April.

Jon is an acclaimed novelist, a charismatic university professor, and a middle-aged man staring down the end of his third marriage. Enter Annie - nineteen years old, a star student and a huge fan of Jon’s work. An undeniable attraction draws them into dangerous territory. With Ella Beatty and Hugh Jackman, the US premiere of award-winning playwright Hannah Moscovitch’s Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes takes us down the most slippery of slopes and will have you questioning your perspective throughout.

Playing 42 performances only, Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes until 18 June and will be joined in repertory from 10 May with performances of a second play, Jen Silverman’s new adaptation of August Strindberg’s Creditors, with Liev Schreiber, Maggie Siff, and Justice Smith; both plays directed by Ian Rickson.

Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes and Creditors will also be recorded and released on Audible at a later date, extending their reach to millions of listeners around the world.

The creative team for both productions includes co-set designers Brett J Banakis and Christine Jones, costume designer Ásta Bennie Hostetter, lighting designer Isabella Byrd, sound designer Mikaal Sulaiman, intimacy coordinator Ann James, and casting director Jim Carnahan.
